Las Vegas - Rugby World Cup Final in Vegas?

I will be in Vegas with a group of rabid English rugby fans for the Rugby World Cup Final. It will be broadcast on Setanta Sports. The kick-off is at noon Vegas time, and it will be college football season, so we will have to compete with those games for a tv or two.
I have been to Vegas a few times, but have not spent a lot of time in sportsbooks or sports bars. Any suggestions for where to watch the match? So far I am thinking either a Sportsbook (if they will put it on), or a British pub such as Crown & Anchor. Crown & Anchor is big on English soccer, and has the advantage of being on Rewards Network. (Not sure if they will pre-empt soccer for rugby though).
I have also looked into sportsbars; ESPN Zone at NYNY told me they dont schedule games til the day before. I have heard Blondies at Planet Hollywood just generally sucks.
Any suggestions on places that would be
a) most receptive to putting the game on (preferably with sound) &
b) most fun to watch the match
would be most appreciated!
BTW I have looked at the venue finder on Setanta's website and it seems to be useless. I called Hofbrauhaus (which is listed) and they told me they dont have satellite at all, just basic cable!

Thanks irelandflyer. I found their website here, and it lists the RWC.

They are charging a $20 per head cover charge.
Any other reports?

Time will tell, but for now that sounds like sour grapes from Down Under...

Both McMullans and Crown & Anchor are very good choices.
Though games shown with sound? Crown and Anchor is the better
choice. There always American football games pro & college being
shown at both locations. But Crown & Anchor will televise what you want.
McMullans on west "Trop" across the street from the Orleans will
defintely show the matches. But Crown & Anchor on "east Trop" would
be the better choice. Also right down the street is a very cheap
Mexican restaurant called Felipito`s if you are into good cheap Mexican
cuisine to absorb all those "ales".

Great feedback, thanks ORD & LAS. Looks like we have a Mexican venue for the post-game victory feast!

If I was Kiwiflyer it proably would be sour grapes. The All Blacks are blaming the referee
Here is an article:..http://www.rugbyheaven.com.au/news/news/wallabies-carrying-new-baggage/2007/10/11/1191695977303.html?sssdmh=dm16.283275
You see us aussies do not whinge but take it on the chin. Our captain saying it like it is
We were not up to it and thats the whole ball of wax, the whole nine yards, the whole shooting match, the whole megillah, the whole shebang and the whole enchilada.

I'd take Mcmullens over the Crown and Anchor based on the better beer selection, more room and general ambience of the joint.
I suspect at that time of the day both'll be glad of a huge crowd of rugby fans (if the stereotype of rugby fans drinking lots of beer is in fact true)

Well,at least they're not one of thousands of Australians seeing out the end of a pointless holiday in France !

You're right!!
I have a mate over there and boy do I plan to give him a ribbing when he gets home. He tried to get me on the trip but I never thought Australia was anywhere near a good thing. Australian Rugby I think are starting to come to grip with the fact that the big salaries are distracting the players away from what is really important about playing the game

theres a similar thread over on the BA board you might want to check out

As an Australian in London, I can safely tell you that my inbox is filled with jokes from my English/South African colleagues, and I would love nothing more than an Argentina v France final. In all fairness I don't think the English are upto the French task, they look very classy, I just hope the English don't bog the game down with mind-numbingly boring penalties, hopefully the French will make them play running rugby^
There were no sour grapes from Lonely Flyer at all, everyone just hates the English;):D

Fair play to you - and I think it's also wise that we English people should accept our victory with the same spirit that we accept our defeats.
