i understand the All Blacks et al booked out the BP cabins completely on their way to France. Now they've been knocked out early, will they have to wait for their original flight(s) home (presumably a booking after the date of the final) or are a lot of passengers going to be bumped off an earlier flight? (Not that you would argue with a despondent All Black!) - just curious to know:)

I think if they lose, they must fly in steerage, if not in the luggage hold...er, sorry you guys got dumped so early in the series.

We don't!

Flights are totally sold out until beginning of november in the premium cabins to AKL. Maybe will have to fly on another carrier/charter a plane to get home.

Well hopefully they will get to come home in rows 66-68 at the back of a nz 747.

Half of the squad are staying in Europe after the RWC. One eye on the contract maybe!

The ABs will be arriving on Wednesday on NZ90 from NRT. Presumably they'll be flying AF or JL from CDG to NRT.

Since NZ90 stops in CHC, this has the fortunate advantage of McCaw being able to avoid the rabid AKL crowd ;)

My understanding is that AB management made the decision awhile ago that - win or lose - the entire team would return together.

Now that would be cruel, AF :(, after they get beaten by France :td:.

Somehow I doubt it - they are/were in Cardiff so logically fly back from LHR not CDG.

There were pics of them checking in at the ANA counters in Heathrow T3 on One News this morning, so it looks like NH to Tokyo to connect to NZ back home.

Well, the AB may have lost but here is an interesting blog from a gay-interest website on the All Blacks, the French team and the Haka :D

Yeah, I was flying HKG-LHR Aug 30, and they were onboard in BP. The flight was totally full, with only one seat in Monkey Class not occupied, which I was offered as my IFE didn't work (again!). It was between two fat guys, so I stayed (bored) in my seat...
