I have to be in Boulder City for a couple of days next week.

Looking online I found several properties, they all seem a little dicey (no pun intended), does anyone have any recomendations?

Boulder City is only 15-20 minutes from Henderson, so you may want to check out the Boulder Highway locations, as well as Sunset Station. Maybe even Silverton & South Point. You are (rush hours excepted) no more than a 25 minute ride away.

If it were me, I'd stick to something in Henderson. Like Sunset Station which was recommended. Or Green Valley Ranch. If you don't want a casino hotel there is a Hampton Inn and Suites as well as a new Hilton Garden Inn near Sunset Station. The Fiesta Henderson would also be an easy drive to Boulder City, but not quite as nice a property as the others.

I would avoid the Southpoint and the Silverton. Their location takes you through allot of the high traffic areas. Anything with a Henderson address will give you an easy drive into Boulder.

I agree totally with your Henderson comment. However, I just wanted to offer a few more options, since the above mentioned locations might have a more cost effective offer available.

It doesn't get much cheaper than the Fiesta Henderson. The Silverton and Southpoint can easily add an additional 20 to 40 minutes to a commute to Boulder during rush hours.

...paging sunnyhere's expert opinion...There are good motel options in Boulder City...when I return to the US, I will rattle some off.

Certainly the Sunset Station area properties, already mentioned, would be suitable for the short commute to Boulder City.

In Boulder City, the El Rancho Boulder has always been a very well maintained property.
