Hi,
I'm going for a complex trip through USA flying with all these companies. All the tickets have been purchased with my AMEX plat through the respective company internet booking services, and I am member off all the frequent flyer programs (alitalia millemiglia for the skyteam partners AF, delta and Continental, and trueblue for jetblue). what I would like to know if there are some benefits, upgrades etc I can claim because I have used the AMEX Plat, are there any special things or sort I can use?

Thank you :)

No upgrades on DL, AF, CO for Alitalia elites. The Amex Plat will get you into the DL and CO lounges on the days that you're holding one of their respective tickets. That's about it.

Remember that you can only use their respective lounges that particular day you are flying on that airline. You will not be able to use the CO lounge when flying say JetBlue.

If you booked with an Amex Centurion card, then you could expect an upgrade, if available.

I don't know why one would expect an upgrade on AF/CO/DL/B6 for booking via the CENT card. Certainly not on all these carriers.

For lounge access, as was noted above, it has to be on the day of travel at the lounge operated by the same carrier operating the airplane (no code-share allowed).

You don't get an upgrade on CO or DL if you book with CENT when available? I always thought you did considering the status that is given? Only when available, of course :).
