We're flying to calgary tommorrw with our smallish 10-month old, and I just realized I have no idea how we'll get from the airport to the Westin downtown. We'd normally take a taxi but we weren't planning to take a car seat with us (we'll be hotel-bound for just 2 days and then return home) and I have no idea if taxis in Canada sometimes have infant car seats. Or if they do in the US, for that matter! (Can you tell this is my first baby?)

Is there a way we can travel and NOT bring her carseat and still make it to and from the hotel? Thanks for any help!

Contact the hotel? Their website says they have (limited) airport transportation. Or contact a shuttle service and make arrangements in advace. http://www.yellowpages.ca/search/si/1/Taxis/Calgary

Another option may be to see if a car rental firm offers chauffeur drive services. I have done this with both Avis & Budget in the past and of course they have the car seats.

It is more expensive than a taxi, but you get the assurance of the car seat.
