American Express Membership Rewards - Another MR travel Deal - 75k points to New Orleans for 2

I just saw another Membership Rewards travel 'Exclusive' as I believe they call them:

October 26-28. New Orleans
Flights on Contiental, 2 nights at the Sheraton and access to events at the Smithsonian Culutrefest for 2 people for 75,000 points.

Thats 37,500 points per person. but I guess you know that!!

I can't even get the flight on Continental for that!

They are also going to donate $100 per package to a NO redevelopment charity. Which is a great idea. See you there!

If AMEX offers packages like this consistently I might switch back to MR as my primary credit card reward program ... that is an awesome deal and I'm bummed out I don't have nearly enough points to do it!

CaroG, question - how do you book your CO flights? Wanted to make sure I could get the flights we wanted (nonstop from / to EWR if possible) before trying to get this package

I think this is a great offer. I wish I could take advantage of this offer.

Yeah AMEX is starting to have better packages. I just received a card in the mail that's double points for 7 day cruise (various destinations) for 549/pp with 2-category upgrade.

Would consider it if it were a nicer cruise line.
