Anyone have any idea what this is? I hope it is not another card to downgrade the current Centurion card holders...

As far as I know that is what Amex calls its additional card for business expenses. Don't you even have one? That's what your signature suggests.

In some card markets such as Germany and the UK, I believe the main Centurion Card holder receives a second card on the account to be able to split up charges (such as personal vs. business). In Germany, I believe the additional card for the Primary Account holder is marked "Centurion Plus" and in the UK "A.C." follows the account holder's name for "Additional Card." Since I do not believe Centurion USA provides a second card to the primary account holder in the U.S. market, these foreign Centurion cards may possibly stand out, when they are in reality just normal cards on the primary holder's account.
There was another post over the weekend referring to Centurion Rewards Plus. Where do you see the word Rewards on this card?

That is a good question. I don't see it either.

I saw it from another discussion on this forum. Someone mentioned it was a Rewards Plus card...and not just a Plus card.

I'm not familiar with the existence of a "Centurion Rewards Plus" card; however, I'm intrigued... Any info?? Maybe it's like gold and gold rewards plus? Not sure, but a suggestion... I only have a normal Cent... lowly me!

For UK Centurion accoutns, the main cardmember (called the 'basic' cardmember) can have an additional card as suggested earlier, the A.C card. By default the card will be embossed with your name, followed by A.C - though you cna opt to have the A.C bit removed and anything else put there. The rationale behind the separate card is so you can easily separate business and personal spend, though in my case I use one card for online transactions, and the other oen as my 'cardholder present' transactions.
In Germany, they add another line of embossing with 'Centurion Plus', and if I recall, you can have a 2nd direct debit from a bank accoutn for all charges to that Plus card. Where as in the UK, all the cards on the account are rolled up into one bill.
In regards to the other post, there are more than 100 Coutts cards in circulation. I've seen at least 5 in my office.
Thanks,
Richard

Indeed, if one visits the "new" Coutts website it looks very much like any other bank seeking customers....
http://www.coutts.com/index.asp
...and on the Cards page there as four choices...
http://www.coutts.com/productsandservices/cards.asp
However, I suppose "the" Coutts card may not be one of these?

I heard about Centurion Plus Card from DE Centurion holder.
DE Centurion cardmembers are able to get the Primary(Basic),AC and Plus cards.
So DE Cent member has 3 Cent cards.
In our Japanese Cent case, we have 3 Centurion cards.
We have Primary,AC, and TC(Titanium).
thanks,

It's the World card (the purple one) that is the top end, invitation only product.

platmem,
I'm sorry, but please don't misunderstand.
What I wanted to say is that our Japanese Centurion holder has 3 Cent cards.
Primary and AC cards are plastic and TC is titanium.
Germany Centurion has 3 cards as well as Japan.
thanks,
masahiro
