American Express Membership Rewards - PTS Signature On File Card

I used PTS for the first time the other day, to make an FHR booking, and I was sent a Signature On File Card by email, to fill out and return by fax. One thing which concerns me is that they require a copy of the front and back of the card "for verification purposes". This would of course include the Card Security Codes.

I don't recall ever having to do this sort of thing before - is this SOP with PTS?

I have never heard of this before, however I have not used PTS for the past 1.5 months. Before you would just call and book your travel after they get your card # and your personal info.

Canadian PTS does ask for signature on file card. However, I don't recall them wanting a copy of the card itself... just the number and your signature authorizing charges.

Thanks. I think I'll just fill out and return the card, and forget about the card copy. If they want it for some reason, they can ask again.
