If I pay off a balance of an AMEX bill with a convenience check from another bank, will I get my MR points or do I forfit them?

If I pay off a balance of an AMEX bill with a convenience check from another bank, will I get my MR points or do I forfit them?

Haven't done this with Plat, but have done it with Gold and Green in the past, no issues.

You'll get the points, as AX just sees it as another check to pay the balance. Just make sure that it is worth whatever convenience fee/service charge/interest rate you're going to be paying on the transferred balance, as that can add up real quickly.
