American Express Membership Rewards - American Express and John Lewis in the UK

UK readers of this group may be interested to know that John Lewis have finally agreed to accepting the card with immediate effect. Details (I should expect) on your next bill. Currently I can only see this (http://www.theretailbulletin.com/?tag=32609807394d8cca2b23a6d9a75ccedd) news link online, but it's not from the Amex or JL websites yet.

or used another card, you know, the emergency MC or Visa just in case.... but, that is great news. Just as good as when M&S announced they were finally going to accept credit cards other than their own charge card several years ago!

You will get 1,000 bonus MR points when you spend £50 in JL between 1 October and the end of the year, as per an email yesterday.

I think there are also a certain £-off if you spend over £100, no?
