Air New Zealand Air Points - Minimum United miles RDM/EQMs on Air New Zealand?

According to the UA website, NZ flights in Y B E H M N O Q T U V W classes earn 100% miles with 500 miles minimum. I am very close to Premier status this year and am flying several intra-New Zealand flights in November and the minimum will actually make the difference. According the he flyertalk FAQ, there is no minimum, only actual miles. Does anyone know which is correct? I called mileage plus and the are clueless! Thnaks.

Firstly AZ is Alitalia, NZ is Air New Zealand.
Secondly, I think UA MP used to apply minimum miles on eligible NZ flights but no longer does.
