the terminal was quiet yesterday afternoon relative to the normal zoo it feels like, so I overheard a pilot discussing JFK-ORD with another pilot.
For the next few months, at least, the A320s currently scheduled are being replaced with E190s.
I don't know how big a deal this is (or isn't). It might not be significant, given this has already been a route where both aircraft are being used. (I took an E190 to ORD but will be going back on an A320.) With that said, if this does make any difference, it will be interesting to see where the A320 capacity will be moved.
