Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific - Stewart Island Accomodation Help

Can anyone share their recommendations re where to stay on Stewart Island? I am hoping to stay there for two nights in Feb. I tend to prefer hotel/motel, fully ensuite, non-budget. It doesn't have to be deluxe - somewhere in the middle would be great. I'm not really a B&B person, unless there's no choice.

The Bay Hotel is already booked when I planned to go, although it's somewhat possible I can change my itinerary.

The details for Stewart Island are not complete, but you will find links to
sites for accommodation.

Many hotels/motels may not have online booking. Your best
bet would be to call them up. It works very well... sometimes it works
on sold out situations too.

Have you tried the South Sea Hotel? Didn't stay there, but I'm not sure there are really any other options. "Downtown" Stewart Island isn't a particularly large place.
