Does anyone know if the Prius is available at any locations in New England (or elsewhere, for that matter)?

A location-by-location search on the Hertz website hasn't turned much up, and neither has a call to reservations...

I wasn't able to get one in Boston.

I have rented them in SFO and MCO :-)

I've seen them in BOS but don't think they're reservable.

I haven't gotten one in New England; but I got one at LAX a year or so ago and thought it was the strangest thing I'd ever driven by a country mile. Maybe I'm just dense, but for some reason, it took me seriously about two minutes to figure out how to start the darn thing -- 'til I figured out I had to hold down the Start/Stop button for about three seconds. I'm not a big fan of cars with Start/Stop buttons, needless to say.

Yea, got one in ATL, and no one knew how to operate.

Never did really figure out the starting process, I think you had to have your foot on the brake to start.

Enjoyed the car and the mileage graphs, but the starting was a real pain...Hertz should provide some sort of instructions.

I rented one in Cleveland a year ago. It had a quick start guide sheet from Toyota in the glove box, so no starting or shifting problems. The start button is really the same as other car start buttons though.

We also have one reserved in MCO in two weeks.

Rented one from YUL a while ago.

From what I remember, the start button is more akin to an on/off switch. Just press it, then go. People are expecting the engine to start right up, but in many cases it may not need to and doesn't.
