Hopefully the ops people at B6 read this. This is a great route for B6 as they compete with only 1 AA direct flight -- there has to be demand on this trip, so how about adding some frequency?

Having only a SAN-BOS redeye means that if I want an early am or afternoon flight east, I have to fly another airline.

Why cant you add a 12 pm flight or a morning flight?

Curious if anyone has heard about expanding the frequency on this route--i really want to see it succeed.

This isn't only flight B6 has this on. They have that 1X daily evening/redeye flights for JFK-PDX, ONT, and TUS as well as BOS-SEA (The list is longer but no need for long lists here).

I will admit that I know how you feel. Last fall when I did a JFK-SEA run, I actually did fly DL:eek: (I know, it sucked) becuase they had the morning flight I needed and they were cheaper than CO out of EWR. I believe that B6's will schedule will improve through time as their finances and aircraft availibility allows. Keep in mind that they are still a pretty big kid for only being around for 7+ years.

There have been more BOS-SAN flights in the past but they always get nixed. I'm not so sure there is the demand that you think there is.

I will admit to not looking at any stats, but its two Top 15 cities in the USA. Surely there is the traffic for snowbirds/retirees/military as well as business travelers.

Would you happen to have the loads for SJC-BOS and SFO-BOS on similar days? They have similar schedules as SAN-BOS, so it could help give some insight on which routes, if any, could support an additional flight.
