Diners Club Club Rewards - thinking about applying -- newbe question

Hi, I just checked a couple of hotels that I am thinking of staying in on my trip to Africa, and many of them mention that one can get Diners Club benefits... I checked dinersclub benefits and they seem to be really good for many of the luxury hotels.

1. Is there a rate type restriction on getting these benefits? An extreme example -- can I still receive benefits when reserving a hotel with points?

2. In BA companion ticket promo, it states that this offer can not be combined with any promotional fares, so is it only applies to the full fare tickets? What about advance purchase?

3. Travel services... what does this really mean?

Thank you very much,

Eugene

The reference to hotel benefits suggests you are looking at the Carte Blanche version (annual fee $300) rather than the basic Diners Club (annual fee $95), is that correct?

To read the details of the British Airways companion offer go to this page...

Near bottom are two links Full Brish Air Terms and Conditions and British Air FAQs.
