JetBlue TrueBlue - New on jetblue.com: Other Services

Just noticed this new page. It probably doesn't affect us FTers all that much, but still cool to read about regarding our carrier of choice:

Seems like a smart way to make some extra cash.

What I actually find interesting is the rates chart. There is a minimum charge per package that seems to be out of whack with the per pound charges.

A Zone 1 shipment has a minimum of $75 for Express Cargo. The per pound rate for 1-99 pounds is $.74. A 99 pound shipment would not meet the minimum charge rate (99*$.74=$73.26). And then at 100 pounds the rate actually drops to $.69/pound, so the 100 pound package would only cost $69, still below the minimum charge rate. There are a couple permutations where you can get to the minimum around 95-99 pounds, but not many.

Very strange.

Also the "where we ship to" picker is pretty messed up. From JFK you can only ship to LGA. It looks like someone confused the two NYC airports. And they show Orlando shipping to the other florida cities, not up to NYC. Time for someone to proofread this section of the site.

sbm, interesting finds to say the least! I didn't look at it in detail yet, but by the looks of it, it seems as if this page is still under construction, and was not ready to go live yet. Also, note that there is no PR about it. :confused:
