Looks like JetBlue share price is headed down towards $8..who would have ever guessed this a few years back..I guess Virgin America is now the new darling of the airline business and JetBlue is a has been.

It almost hit the $8 mark a few weeks ago and then shot back up to appx $10. Now its stalled in the mid $9s and probably will be till the earnings turns it Up or Down from there

CAL PHL FLYER, You have a history of posting here only with bad jetBlue news, especially stock-related. This is a frequent flyer forum; not a financial/investing forum. All I can say is welcome to the airline industry...it's a roller coaster, and is no different than CAL's 10-year chart.

And today (Friday) the stock bucks the trends based on very strong august traffic, which will likely put pressure on DL to keep the fare increases it just implemented.

Really no reason to read into the stock price, unless it truly seemed like B6 was going to be a takeover target. It could happen someday, but it doesn't seem likely in the next few years.

Kind of ironic that since the posting, CAL stock has been downgraded and has been on a steady decline while B6's stock has been going up.

IFE is nice, but I'll take B6's extra 4 inches of legroom over VX's extra 3.4 inches of screen width.

I don't agree with him, but it is a reasonable topic. Happy to see the excellent load factors for August. I hope IAD put up good numbers, because we need more B6 destinations.
