Looks like JetBlue share price is headed down towards $8..who would have ever guessed this a few years back..I guess Virgin America is now the new darling of the airline business and JetBlue is a has been.:rolleyes:

This is a frequent flyer forum; not a financial/investing forum. All I can say is welcome to the airline industry...it's a roller coaster, and is no different than CAL's 10-year chart. defiance96 Sep 7, 07, 1:33 pm And today (Friday) the stock bucks the trends based on very strong august traffic, which will likely put pressure on DL to keep the fare increases it just implemented. Really no reason to read into the stock price, unless it truly seemed like B6 was going to be a takeover target. I don't agree with him, but it is a reasonable topic. Happy to see the excellent load factors for August. I hope IAD put up good numbers, because we need more B6 destinations. |
