Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific - Accommodation in Phillip Island

We're planning to see the Phillip Island penguins again in January. Apparently Sunset is around 9-10pm, so we're looking for somewhere close to Penguin Island to spend the night.

Can anyone recommend a good place to stay?

The only one in a hotel program that I've seen, is "All Seasons Eco Resort Phillip Island" (http://www.accorhotels.com.au/6655) which is part of Accor.

I don't remember any hotels in the area. We were there in January also and just drove back to MEL arriving around Midnight I think. It was not a bad drive. I know that its blasphemy but I was not overly impressed with Phillip Island. Yes, the fairy penguins were cute but I was not overly impressed
