PMMMDL Sep 1, 07, 8:55 pm Hi I am booking a trip from MAN - SIN Aug 2008 in biss and want to know the chances of having a plane with the new super wide business class? Since that flight is currently scheduled to be on a 777-200ER, you are much more likely to get the "Spacebed" seats in Business (Raffles) Class. Here is your link: http://www.singaporeair.com/saa/en_UK/content/microsites/experience/RafflesClassSeat/vr_demo1.html Guy Betsy Sep 2, 07, 5:21 pm Hi I am booking a trip from MAN - SIN Aug 2008 in biss and want to know the chances of having a plane with the new super wide business class? You'd probably need to fly out of LHR and on the A380. Or route your flights via CDG, ZRH, MXP, or FRA where the 777-300ER operates. The new Business class will not be installed on other aircrafts. ph-ndr Sep 2, 07, 5:55 pm Also I've noted that the fares loaded with my TA now do distinct splits on what is way marked up in price (i.e. hitting the 77W flights) and the older 772 routes at "normal" pricing, so picking the routes to coincide with 77W flights is now also costing it. -A LionCity Sep 3, 07, 8:30 am Also I've noted that the fares loaded with my TA now do distinct splits on what is way marked up in price (i.e. hitting the 77W flights) and the older 772 routes at "normal" pricing, so picking the routes to coincide with 77W flights is now also costing it. -A Is the surcharge for the 77W considered for PPS Value? qasr Sep 3, 07, 8:32 am Is the surcharge for the 77W considered for PPS Value? Yes. zvezda Sep 3, 07, 9:40 pm Chances are nil. It's hypothetically possible that you could get a 777-300ER due to equipment substitution, but that seems very, very remote. Another possibility is that SQ might decide to install the new seats on some or all of the 777-200ERs, but there are no announced plans to do so. |
