Fares have doubled from 49 each way to 99 each way, what is up with this, also they now have one nonstop a day didnt they have 3 a few weeks ago. Any idea how they doubled the fare on a short haul and cut service and if it will be restored.

BOS-CMH was always one flight a day. JFK-CMH is 4 flights a day and will be reduced to three for the winter.
As far as the fares go, they do fluctuate based on demand. Those $49 fares were certainly promotional, and JetBlue wasn't making money off of those. These $99 fares are reasonable - especially compared to what airlines were charging on this route before JetBlue entered it.

I agree 49 would not last however if you track the fare history it went from 49 to 59 over the summer then jumped to 99. The jump is what is odd espcially being the slower fall travel season. Any ideas or is this a new strategy.

Fall is slower for recreational travel but business travel picks back up after late-summer lulls. And business travelers are worth way more money to a carrier than recreational travelers. I'm not sure that flying profitably is a new strategy, but it is certainly a laudable one.

I can't speak on the ticket prices as that is WAY above my head :confused: but CMH-BOS has always been once daily. JFK has had up to 4 flights a day as keepreosellinas said.
