Travel Technology - Nokia 6300 Any feedback???

I searched and only found 2 references to the 6300. Any users out there?

My sister uses the 6300...she doesn't like that you can't edit the number when sending a text and the interface is not as intuitive as her previous Nokia phones. Apart from that, I think she loves it...good reception, etc.

I have it... it's good enough as a phone but nothing spectacular. My biggest irk is that the "centre" button is used to "save" a phone number rather than dial it. So if you dial xxx-xxx-xxxx and then the centre button it goes to the address book rather than calling.

No specific questions. CBW is pushing it as the best thing since sliced bread.

I like the non flip phone. I like the large screen. I like the aluminum instead of plastic body.

I want a basic phone (camera and mp3 player is nice extra)

SO has one.....wanted a basic phone for basic ability to text and call...well, essentially me and his brother ;) And, wanted something that looked nice and didn't take too much space.

At that, it is a really nice, works well, OK sound. The big screen and the camera is fun (we've recently gotten adopted by the cutest little kitten, necessitating easy-access to cameras), but not more than that. The MP3-player suxx, but probably because we're both much much much more into classical music, which doesn't do well when mp3ified anyways.

In short, if you're looking for a basic phone that works well and looks good, then it's excellent, especially for the price.
