I signed up for SPG in late May, and since then I have accumulated 40+ nights. I just recieved my Base Level card last week which is no big deal, but I have a couple of general questions that I was hoping would have been addressed in the membership packet, but they were not and I could not find the answers thru the search function.

1) Does SPG send out a printed statement? I am having a heck of a time trying to verify which 500 web book bonuses go with which stays as well as platinum amenity miles. Maybe it's me, but it seems awfully confusing that the only date on the online activity is the post date and not the activity date.

2) I have several instances where the miles posted are a bit off from what I should get. For example, I had a base rate of 79/nt, but I was credited one time 70 base miles and another 75 base miles. Granted, 5 or 10 miles a pop is not a huge deal, but i am curious if there is a reason for this. All of my stays have been split between 2 properties, and I have only noticed this happening with one, so I am guessing it's at the property level?

1) No printed statements are mailed. We send these out only via email. If you want to receive an email statement, you need to be sure and sign up for it. You can do this by calling the Customer Contact Center.

2) Not sure what may be causing the discrepancy; however, you can send copies of your hotel bills to Program Services and they will be glad to research the issues. By fax at 519-633-8557 or scan to an email at research@starwoodhotels.com. My apologies in advance for any inconvenience.
