Travel Technology - Treo 750 sync help?

Ok. I want to sync my contacts on a Tero 750 (Windows) to my PC. MS Active Sync wants me to switch my default email to Outlook to do this. I use Thunderbird for email and have no want for Outlook. Please advise on how to do this?

Of course, not completely true as there is a solution.

First of all you'll need to install a calendar application into Thunderbird. So step 1 is to install "Lightning" into Thunderbird.

Step 2 is to get a sync application that works between Activesync and Thunderbird/Lighting:

It's not the most efficient of solutions, but the only one if you want Thunderbird and Activesync.

I ended up just using Outlook for Calendar/Contact and didn't configure it for email. I still use Thunderbird for Email though.
