I have been checking SJC - SFO - and OAK on possibles for an upcoming trip in November. Suddenly SJC is Sold out of most FUN and Prestige cars.

Do they have fewer cars than the other airports or is this do to vehicle realignment or new model changeover??? All 3 airports have around 50 models to choose from.

If I choose to fly into SJC, which vehicle choice would be better when looking to upgrade even if it is a paid upgrade…Toyota Solara or standard F class?

If you are going to pay to upgrade anyway, take the cheaper of the two between Solara and standard F. The upsell will probably be around the same cost.

I ran into the Sold Out issue last fall at SMF with Fun and Prestige Collections. After checking SMF for the same time period, they are Sold Out of many of the same cars in both Collections.

I am guessing it is fall migration for the Fun Collection and model year changeover for the Prestige Collection vehicles.

I usually choose a car I will enjoy and then ask what is available for upgrade.

How often do you get what you reserved with bad or no options?

SFO and OAK are definitely larger facilities than SJC.
