Starwood Preferred Guest - Please advise re Starwood properties in vicinity of Cleveland

Hi all:
I'm planning to be in Cleveland during the Sept. 7 weekend. I'll be there a couple of days . I'm gonna use Cleveland as a base to go to Buffalo & Pittsburgh shows.
The plan is to stay in Cleveland , drive to Buffalo (according to Mapquest 3,5 hours drive) and return after the show.
The next day I don't know if is advisable to stay in Cleveland again (Cle - Pit about 2 hours drive) or move & stay in Pittsburgh.
I need the stays on Starwood so any help or advise will be appreciated.

The 4P in Akron is a HOLE

The Sh Suites in Cayahugua Falls is very nice its about an hr South of Clev on Route 8 and slightly out of yourway.

However I feel that the Sh in Independence right off the I-77 is what you will need as its usually cheaper then the Suites and is right off of the Highway you need to get to both Buf & Pit.

Never stayed at CLE and they charge for parking while Indy does NOT

I have stayed at the Sheraton in Independence, OH. I think it has been renovated recently. My stay there was fine, but not outstanding. It is a bit tricky turning into the hotel driveway and the street is heavily traveled. As for Pittsburgh, the Westin and Sheraton in the city are very nice. There is also a Sheraton Inn in Mars, PA, which is about 15 miles north of the city and convenient to the Turnpike. My preference is the Westin. Good Luck.

I'll be around there just for the Genesis concert , and going from South America just to see the band is a great "money effort" . So , I will try to choose the others options.
The 4 P in Mars has a lower rate , and the Independence & the Sheraton CLE too.
Does anyone know how long does it take from the 4P Mars to the Mellon Arena on Sunday about 6 PM ?

Sh in Independence. Easy access to the freeway and solid sheraton rooms. Has a lounge if that helps. Room service food is decent as well.

Since when did the Sheraton at the airport start charging for parking? I haven't stayed there in a couple months, but they never charged the last 3 years I've been going there.

Independence is OK, and as the others described. For the money it is a reasonable place and I normally stay there rather than the airport.

I have stayed at Cayahugua Falls once and I thought it was nice, much better than Independence or the airport. But out of your way for BUF and PIT.

I am not sure why you would drive to BUF, return to CLE, then go back to PIT. Seems like way out of the way if you ask me. I have stayed at one in PIT although it was six months ago and forget which one. Can't remember the price but the place was decent. IIRC it was north of downtown. As far as BUF whatever you do don't stay at the 4pts in Niagara Falls, you'd be better off at a Motel Six.

Thanks 1K_From_SNA. In some way you are right. Staying at PIT seems to be more adequate. I'm considering this option as well . I'm not decided yet.
The problem of being in PIT is : only the 4 Points in Mars has average reviews in FT , and I need to switch properties to reach the Platinum Level .
After searching and reading the FT forum , CLE offers better properties at lowers rates.
You also are right regarding the 4P at Niagara , the reviews are very bad. (and the rate is us200 for that night ).Also , I need a visa to visit Canada and it takes a lot of time to have it, so I have to avoid Canadian properties.
These are the main reasons to return to CLE/PIT area after the concert.
