South - Best independent coffee shop in or near downtown Memphis, Tennesee?

I am a coffee snob through and through plain and simple. I will be in Mem later next month and looking for some kick butt indie coffee shops in or near dt. Please don't even suggest the evil green monster. Sorry but anyone with the slightest taste in coffee knows they are not the best.

I am not a true coffee snob, so you'll want to take this with a grain of salt.

That being said, I do really like Otherlands on Cooper. I like the Cooper-Young area in general so I tend to always get my coffee there when I'm in town.

Edited to add: Aw, sorry, I missed the "downtown" part. I see that there's a Cafe Francisco (http://www.cafefrancisco.com/) there, though I haven't been. You may want to call to verify they're still open since the website information is minimal. All my favorite downtown places seem to have short shelf lives, so you never know :(
