Quick question. My father is a SPG member, though he has been accumulating points for years and up until today hadn't checked his balance in ages. I went in an checked his balance at SPG.COM and noticed that his status was listed as a "Corporate Preferred Guest." The site also said he needed 8 more stays to reach GOLD.
As he is an Amex Platinum member, was wondering if the enrollment as an automatic gold via the credit card applied to Corporate Preferred Guest members (not even sure what a "corporate" is...maybe someone can clarify?) But would like to know if I can get him bumped up to Gold just because he is an Amex Plat member. Thanks in advance!
