The plane landed in Indianapolis just after 3 p.m., minutes after the potential problem was noticed. Susan Sullivan, media relations manager for the Indianapolis Airport Authority, said the action was a precautionary measure and no passengers were injured.
"It's not uncommon for a pilot experiencing mechanical difficulty to err on the side of caution and to land," she said."
