Air New Zealand Air Points - The Future of Freemdom Air

For the last year few years i have always wondered why Air NZ has held onto the freedom brand when they introduced Tasman express. Also i have found that flying freedom on AKL-OOL 90% of the time it costs more than flying NZ AKL-BNE which is crazzy. Surely some of the freedom routes such as AKL-OOL would do so much more better if they where an Air NZ flight as i always find the idea of flying freedom a put off.

It is a pointless entity. The low cost operation is already used as Zeal320, and operating these flights as Freedom serves only to reduce yield from the 8 seats in rows 1 and 2.

Moreover, Pacific Blue offers frequent flyer points while Freedom doesn't.

Freedom works fine as Zeal320, but serves no other purpose.
