Travel Technology - Pocket PC WIFI problem.

Bit of a longshot but hopefully someone can help me out here.

I have a XDA11 (Himalaya) pocket PC and recently aquired a SD WIFI Card.

I have no problems connecting to a WIFI Hotspot but whenever I try to load a page on the browser(IE or Opera) it says 'cannot locate remote server' or 'cannot load page'?
Its as if the browser doesn't recognise I am connected to the internet.
Anyone have any ideas?

On my iPAQ with Windows Mobile 2003SE and SpecTec 802.11b adapter, I have to go to | Settings | Connections | Connections | Set up proxy | and check the "This network connects to the Internet" box.
