Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific - Island hopping : assistance required

I’m planning a visit to the Pacific as part of a wider RTW in 2008’s Q1.

I’d like to visit RAR, NAN, TBU, APW and PPT.

I know I can do SIN - CHC – RAR – NAN - AKL and AKL – TBU – APW – AKL - KIX.

(The RTW calculator is accepting the 2 AKL stops!)

Now, I’m having some difficulty fitting PPT in and, to complicate matters further, NZ is ceasing RAR- NAN flights in October, I believe…

Any ideas how to pull everything together or should I just drop PPT and NAN?

Thanks.

If it is a *A RTW then you can have up to 3 transfers at AKL, only 1 of which can be more than 24 hours.

With several island routes being dropped (RAR-PPT, RAR-NAN, WLG-NAN, CHC-NAN) it will no longer be possible to include all of RAR, NAN, TBU, APW, and PPT on a single *A RTW ticket. Of course you could book side trips from AKL to visit more islands. It would also be easier if you fly from to LAX via islands - either RAR, NAN or (TBU & APW).
