I was looking at the TSA website for info about the new electronics hassles and found this displayed prominently:

Tribute To Employees Of Transportation Security Administration by Representative Peter King (http://www.tsa.gov/press/happenings/tsa_tribute.shtm)

On August 10, 2006, TSA demonstrated that it can perform its mission admirably.

Yeah - confiscating millions of dollars of harmless personal property is admirable, alright.

I'd hardly expect the Chairman of the House Committee on DHS to be anything less than fulsome in his praise.

President Bush is an outstanding leader of outstanding integrity. Like Ed Koch I thank God every night that he is our President. You should do the same.Peter T. King

Peter King is one of the biggest political grandstanding buffoons to walk the hallowed halls of Capital Hill. This is a new low even for him. He needs a muzzle.

If King was in charge, you'd have TSA screeners wand you and inspect your license before getting in your car to drive.
