Hubby and I are planning to go away Sat for a one-night getaway, in-laws will be looking after the boys, and we need a much deserved grown-up night. Did some searching, was interested in staying somewhere with a spa, Grove Park three hours away, so chose Grandover, since I went to Pinehurst in Feb and had a crazy experience ( read about it in my profile).
So I have booked us in for a Couple's Getaway package, with a couple's massage, dinner for two, room service breakfast and one night at a golf view room. Made reservations, was told, would get the email confirmation in the next one day. One week passes by and nothing. So I call again, and they say we will re-send it again, three days have gone by and still nothing. Getting a little annoyed, just want one night going by without a hitch and if a hotel cannot send out a simple email, what am I putting us in for...
Will of course put in a complete review when I get back, meanwhile, wanted to share this with you.
