Perhaps OT, but I was wondering if there are typical B6 pax? Like: middleclass, or student, low budget, etc. Did anyone ever do a survey on this?
JetBlue TrueBlue - Typical B6 PAX?View Full Version : Typical B6 PAX? dieuwer2 Aug 18, 07, 4:26 pm Perhaps OT, but I was wondering if there are typical B6 pax? It depends on the day and time, time of year, route, etc. I see families, couples (old and young), UM's, casual business people, business people in suits, students, groups, etc. JetBlueFA Aug 18, 07, 8:01 pm Depends on the route. I see a great mix from families to students to middle class to business customers. Howgart Aug 18, 07, 11:39 pm Perhaps OT, but I was wondering if there are typical B6 pax? Just curious, what's behind your question? xanthuos Aug 19, 07, 12:07 am I don't have real world anecdotal experience, since I've not yet flown on the route, but I would assume JFK-BOS has a good number of business people. On my last flight, PIT-JFK, there was a good number of business people. dieuwer2 Aug 19, 07, 2:47 pm Just curious, what's behind your question? The influence of the subprime debacle on the load factors of airlines. magiciansampras Aug 19, 07, 4:42 pm IME on BOS-CMH and BOS-JFK, it was mostly middle-class folk. I found far more business people on DL and AA (particularly for the BOS-CMH route). OhHim Aug 19, 07, 8:47 pm I'm mostly on Monday early AM, and Thursday late PM PIT-JFK flights (standard business commuter traffic). For most, I'd guess 50% single businessmen (middle-management or entrepreneurs, as there were very few tumi rollerboards & no lounge tags on the bag), 25% hip New Yorker young adults, and 25% families. |
