My boss is flying from Texas to Busan, South Korea in about a week. I have tried to get his hotel in Daegu (the Inter-burgo) to arrange a car from the airport to the hotel, but they say they can't and he should take a bus
So, I'm hoping someone on here can shed some light - does anyone have any good advice on how to get from Busan Airport to Daegu? He'll be absolutely exhausted, and it's his first trip to Korea, so I'm really looking for detail here! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

The "limousine buses" are a comfortable and relatively hassle free way to travel this short route. No safety worries at all. If the trip can be extended by a day or so, your boss might want to stay at a Busan spa hotel for the first night to almost literally "scrub" off the exhaustion.

Thanks Mosburger! Could you give me a little bit more information on the buses? Are they easy to find when exiting the airport, or is there a desk he should go to at the airport to find out about the bus?
I have had such problems with the Inter-burgo so far that I'm terrified if I try to change his arrival date to Sunday they'll cancel the whole thing :(

Tickets cannot be bought on the bus but at a separate ticket counter. Otherwise they should be easy to find and use.
Btw, Daegu has an own airport and can be reached both from Seoul and China & Japan. And if you really want to insist on pick up service, have your local Korean partner call the hotel They will be much more accomodating in that case.

Can anyone comment on the service and facilities at the Inter-burgo? It sounds like people have not had good experiences.

As you exit the airport building at PUS, the limousine bus stops are on the right. Opposite the bus stops, there's a cafe, then a waiting room with the ticket office inside. The lady who sells you the bus ticket speaks only Korean, but you can get her to indicate the time of the next bus and which stop it'll use.
Alternatively, there's a set of information desks just before you exit the airport building where they have a list of bus times and stops, and the people there speak English and Japanese.
