The Seattle paper reports that National is sending 18 757's back to the leasing companies. With more and more 757 parked in the desert, they report that it looks bleek for the 757. They estimate that there will be 29 unfilled orders and the production line will slow to the minimum 1 plane per month. The line could shut down in 29 months unless someone starts ordering.
I like the 757. Hope it won't go away.
