Just heard on JFK's ATC "JetBlue 9001 cleared for take off"

I looked on flightview and saw it is an A320 to PIT. Obviously not a regularly scheduled flight. Deos anyone know if it's just a charter?

That could be a possibility. The other thought I had was that it could just be aircraft movements/placements. I played with those 9000 #'s on flightaware.com and I came up with a few interesting ones. Here's just a couple:

9009 JFK-EWR on 6/29/07 via A320 (probably just aircraft repositioning)
9002 SAN-LGB on 7/12/07 via A320 (charter or placement...which one?)
9100 MSO-LGB on 11/4/06 via A320 (most likely a charter)...and yes, it is Missoula not Orlando
9204 MCO-JAX on 03/09/07 via E190 (either charter or repositioning)

They don't generally do A320s to PIT. I had an A320 PIT-BOS Monday AM flight last year due to some odd issue, but otherwise, it is all E190 service. Definitely curious.

Flight 9001 was sent to PIT to accommodate customers on the diverted flight from LAS. LAS flight #200 diverted this morning to PIT. The plane had a mechanical and couldn't fly back right away. The pilots needed their FAA mandated rest and are scheduled to fly the plane back to JFK tonight without anyone on board (mechanical issue probably couldn't be resolved in PIT). Jetblue flew an empty A320 to PIT (flt 9001) to pick up the 145 customers that were stuck there from this morning.

Most flights beginning with a "9" are charters. Flight in the 9's could also be "repositioning flights" which usually only have crew on board.
