I'm currently looking at booking flights for Tokyo. One of my options involves a 3 day layover at INC.
As the dates I'm looking at are end of August, I'm not so sure we want to go to Seoul.
Salt air/water is painful for MrLapLap, so we don't necessarily want to head for a beach (at least not for the sake of going to a beach), nor are we interested in golf. Money is also tight, so our budget limits us to rooms of 10,000kwon and under (hopefully under). That's for both of us.
I've never left ICN airport before and would be keen to take advantage of this opportunity to see a little something of South Korea and sample the food. And I'll still be in convalescence mode, so exersize/walking is very important.
As it's still not certain I'll be going after all, please don't anybody take too much trouble with replies. But if off of the top of your head you can think of somewhere suitable, I'd love some pointers on where I could go to do some moderate/gentle hiking within a 2/3 hour radius of INC. If there are hot springs in the area, even better!
