Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - Re-Routed with new booking class: Which miles should be credited?

I was ticketed for MAD-ZRH-TXL on Swiss in V (750 miles per segment). Due to a delay of the MAD-ZRH flight, which would have resulted in a missed connection for ZRH-TXL and due to the fact that the next ZRH-TXL was already overbooked, I talked to the LX GA in MAD and she told me they would rebook me on LH MAD-FRA-TXL. This was done in business class.
So far, none of the miles have posted, but my question would be:
Should I get miles for the original ticket in V vlass or for the new ticket in C class?

If your M&M card was registered you will most likely automatically receive miles for LH segments in C class. If you have to send the BPs + ticket copy for retro-active registration you will only receive miles for the original flights booked. You are only entitled to miles for the flights you have originally paid for.

Just had the same issue last week - you will be credited with the miles of the ticket originally booked and paid for - not for the class flown. One more glitch in the system that is gone :(

Correct. You are only entitled to the miles you have paid for. But you can always hope... ;)
I was rebooked by a GA recently from V to Y and received Y mileage (1250) on my account instead of V mileage (125).

what about a segment added? i'm rebooked with an extra segment. do i get miles for each segment? so far they proposed a flight which would rebook me into E (I was booked in E), is it worth waiting till E disappears hoping for a higher booking class?

Well - I was booked on LX NUE-ZRH in 'E' (125 miles) but due to cancellation I was rebooked NUE-MUC-ZRH on LH with NUE-MUC in 'D' and MUC-ZRH in 'Y' and received 1500 and 1250 respectively.

two month ago, I asked the ticketing lady at MUCs remote transfer desk the question: if I don't take my direct flight to LHR which still is delayed until further notice and I am re-booked by you on say MUC-ZRH-LHR, what do you credit? She answered that I would get my original miles plus the re-booked ones...... reason she said: for the trouble people had when re-booking because of the airlines fault happen. Needless to say that I did not believe her. And I still don't.

I have to say that I made the experience that most LH check-in or gate people don't know that much about Miles & More. For example, today a lady at CGN airport wanted to tell me that you don't get any miles for QKL-FRA...
