South - Tyler TX Hotel/Motel Help ASAP Please

I have 3 friends who need to stay 2 nights (Fri, Sat) this weekend in Tyler TX while attending a funeral.

afaik, none have status or even accts w/any hotel program. Can anyone recommend a place for them to stay or at least the place(s) to avoid?

There are a lot of options on north 323 (Holiday Inn, Motel 6, etc.).

Tyler is a decently sized town, so they should not have trouble finding a place to stay.
