Just wondering whether Seatcounter.com is accurate at all?

I'm currently waitlisted on 3 LHR-HKG flights on the 18-20 August (all on CX252 in Booking Class I). Having checked Seatcounter, I Class is available on the 18th Aug. Unfortunately MPC Agent has told me that all I class seats have been zeroed out on all my waitlisted flights.

So...who shall I prode to get a seat on my waitlisted flights?

It is Point-of-Sale issue. :(

Seatcounter.com shows POS USA while MPC uses POS Hong Kong. Keep the faith, it is likely to open up later. There have been a good number of similar threads. You might be able to book it by calling USA reservation number.

anything to do with the issue mentioned lately about the place of purchase of the ticket ? e.g. for a couple of trips lately also on these HKG-LHR-HKG flights...it seems quite wide open in D and I on some flights when checked using various tools (e.g. KVS), but my TPE agent said D/I are full on most flights when I tried to buy TPE-HKG-LHR-HKG-TPE...this for sure didn't happen e.g. last year when I bought some similar tickets from TPE. but now it seems like ex-TPE tickets for example don't get access to the complete D/I inventory, but just a subset...

No it isn't. All "I" class seats are sold out on all CX flights from LHR on that day.

Thanks for the info TerryK. I didn't know that seatcounter only shows POS USA.

I bought my tickets from Taipei (a big ^ to FT!) which probably explains the lack of I-class inventory available for my flights. I guess I will have to wait till more seats are released closer to the departure date.

In the meantime, I will try ringing up CX Res in the US.

One thing you will notice on seatcounter and some of the GDS systems is that they do not differentiate with CX between the 747 and the 74A, I believe EF is also the same.
