As usual, the fine print disappoints:

*No coupon needed for this week's special.
Not valid with any other offers or coupons. Offer valid July 20-21, 2007. Only at participating retail locations in: AL, AR, CO, FL, GA, LA, MS, MO, NC, NE, OR, TN, UT, and Fairview Heights, IL. Not valid on gift certificates or catering orders. While supplies last.

California retail stores conspicuously missing from the list. :(

Holy Hog!

I've never had Honeybaked, as far I knew anyway, and I don't live in an area with these stores. The smallest (13lb) whole ham is $99. Are they really worth it? How much would a comparable grocery store-bought ham cost?

Well, whatever the case, a 50% discount is pretty nice.

Honey Baked Hams are really good, but the leftovers don't freeze well. @:-)If I just want some for sandwiches, or I'm making split pea soup, the stores around Atlanta sell ham bones for $5. You get a couple of pounds off one, and it's just as good.

The hams are very good and as I found out with the last 50% off offer, so is the prime rib. If you can get the 50% code to work, I would suggest to start off with the mini ham. In the store, an unbaked ham would probably run you about $35-$45. However, the honey-baked hams seem to be worth the extra $$ although I don't think I would pay $100 for one.

Interesting. You folks in Georgia know your Honeybaked, don't you. ;)

I've never mail ordered meat before. I don't know if I wanna. I would definitely take the beef over ham though - seems like less sodium. Thanks for that recommendation.

I took advantage of this on-line special in May, and again yesterday. 9 lb ham, shipped, for $37. Can be served cold or warm, so makes for a nice few meals in the summer time! I could only get the coupon to work with the hams, not combos or anything else though, which was disappointing... Still definitely worth it, much easier to use for a picnic than making and cooking burgers, etc :)

Thanks! Ordered one this morning - so easy! Guests arriving this week, so we'll enjoy a special meal with them. Has anyone tried the tri-tip or whole turkey?

Which link did you use? Did the "special" code work? I tried both links but it keeps telling me that it's not a valid code. By the way, I missed the 50% off in store special Sat. in Atl because all of the Honey-Baked Ham stores ran out of hams!!:td:

Code "special" at check-out worked without a hitch.

Good luck!

A couple of days ago we received one of the hams that I recently ordered. It was for out of town family in for a visit. Although I enjoy HB Ham and had a great ham sent during the last promotion, I was almost embarassed about this one. It wasn't sliced correctly and was extremely salty. Almost like it was sent from the rejection bin. I would be interested in knowing if others had similar not-up-to-par hams... I hope my experience was unique, but am curious nonetheless.

We picked up 2 9-lbs at the store, there were great!! A friend of ours ordered on line and he is very happy with it; now he is telling everyone he knows about this promotion. Great promotion even with additional $10 for the shipping. Sorry to hear your bad experience.

My ham was fine .. no complaints. This was a great deal, and the ham was delivered within 48 hours of placing my order on line. Sorry to hear your ham wasn't up to par.

Glad to read that the other hams were fine, just had a bit of bad luck I suppose. But people ate it and for the price I would never have called to complain! Have another one coming this week and I'm looking forward to it.

Second ham was better, not salty at all :) Arrived a day late, however, and I was a bit concerned because our weather was 90s plus but when it did arrive it was still cool, I think it had been shipped a day late rather than just sitting around UPS somewhere...

Too bad we can't order with a delivery date around the holidays. Nonetheless, I think I am going to try to order a combo later today (wouldn't work for me with the discount last time), with delivery date in 6 weeks or so. Will be a nice treat then!

**Just tried to order, can't find a place to enter code that will work... darn!
