Is it broken? I've used it successfully in the past, but for the past few trips out of PVG, I get a "could not connect" error every time I click on the online check-in link (have tried different computers, browsers, etc.). I can access all other sections of the website, including viewing my itineraries. I haven't tried this from within Hong Kong, so I don't know if this is a China firewall issue.
I'm not sure about Shanghai, but I've been using this every week in HKG and PEK without any problems...(last successful usage in HK = yesterday / Jul 14, in PEK = past Tue / Jul 10).

Thanks. I'm in HK now and am still getting the "server not found" error, so it looks like it's on my end. Odd that it's only cropped up recently and has also "infected" my desktop machine as well.
in fact, my uncle is having the same problem for the past year or so already (or even more than a year)...his work computer, his home computer, and he said a couple of his colleagues also had this problem...but since I could do it no problem, he also thought it's just problems of their own computers...
now it seems there's probably really problems with KA's online checkin system's compatibility with some systems ? although I can't really tell the specific reason...
