My Treo decided the other day that a brisk soak in the local toilet would be good for its health. After it's fished out and toweled off, the thing wouldn't turn on. At the suggestion of others, I put it in the oven on low heat for a few hours. Now it can be turned on and most of the functions are working, except for calling and receiving calls. I took it to the local Cingular store and plead ignorant. The charming gal behind the counter opened it up, played around with the SIM card, and proceeded to point to the watermark inside the phone. So now I feel sheepish with neither an appropriate response nor a cave to hide. :D

It's been a few days now and I am still without a working phone. Any other solutions beside just coughing up more dough for a new phone?

Hi,

IF you purchased your Treo with an AMX card, you might still be able to invoke coverage under the Purchase Protection Plan or your Buyers Assurance Plan. Good luck!
