Randy Petersen's InsideFlyer magazine editors are writing a cover story about frequent flyer programs in the Middle East and would like your opinion.

Please tell us the Middle East-based airline programs you belong to along with the plusses and minuses of membership in the program.

And if you are a frequent flyer to the Middle East but prefer to earn your miles in a North American-based program, we would like to hear your opinions too.

We appreciate your comments and look forward to hearing from you. Please reply to lyoung@insideflyer.com if you would like to communicate via email.

Thank you!

I have membership with QR privilege club. I applied in 2005 when I flew them SIN-DOH-FRA-DOH-SIN. That was the only time I put my miles/points into my account. The benefit I got was priority boarding although I was just a general member. However, although I still fly to Europe through middle east for the lower fares and availability of seats, I prefer to put my miles into my UA MP account as I don't fly enough to redeem an award from privilege club. Hence I like to combine my miles with my UA *A miles so as to redeem an award.
