The Caribbean - Nearby alternative to Sandals in Nassau

I have a wedding to attend at Sandals in Nassau-the rates are higher than I'd like even discounted,so I'm planning to stay elsewhere and pay a day fee to attend the wedding.

I anyone familiar with the distance between Sandals and the Sheraton on Cable Beach or the Hilton British Colonial?
