I was surprised when I discovered this AV input panel in my room at Hyatt Place this evening. It connects to their 42" Plasma HDTVs.

At most hotels, I'm lucky to find front RCA connections on their analog tube TVs.

I believe the new Marriotts have the same thing...I know the one in Coralville/Iowa City IA does. Beautiful LCD flat panels and extensive A/V connections to them...as well as a wired/wireless Internet option.

Wow! That is a really nice interface, which is even more accessible than I imagined. Were all of the cables present in the room also?

I think you have to provide your own cables. Didn't see any in the room but I spent most of the time sleeping. I'll try looking again next week.

At some places I've been in the cables are down front, they don't leave them there because they would have to replace them several times a week.

Hilton Dulles has this too. I couldn't get any of the cables to work. :(
