I am looking for a web-based travel calendar. Basically, just something that shows where I am in the world at a given time that I can use to plan, as well as share with family. I would settle for a service, but wouldn't mind some source code or something I could run on my own server.
I know I can publish my Outlook calendar, but it is a disaster to look at. I just want something that shows where I am, when I am there, and my travel schedule.
Thanks for any help!

I get free MSN service with Verizon DSL. If you have that, or some way to get MSN, you can download something called "Outlook Connector". This lets you check your hotmail account from within Outlook and also allows you to drag any/all appointments over to your hotmail calendar, which you can share with anybody. You basically tell hotmail to share the calendar and it asks for the email address to share it with. That person accepts the share, then you stuff shows up on their calendar in another color. If you click on the item, some of the details come up. It is simple to do---I display both my outlook calendar in monthly view alongside my hotmail calendar and just drag over the stuff I want my wife to see (that's who I share it with) so she can see basically where I am. This is free for me with the MSN/Verizon thing.

You can get a google calendar, and then publish it on the web or share with your family, and it's free!

Google calendar is great! You can even set it up with multiple calendars (for different events, etc.) and then filter it so only certain calendars can be viewed by others.

And you can use Spanning Sync to coordinate Mac iCal calendars with Google calendar, so changes in one appear on the other. Not sure if there are things on Windoze to coordinate with Google calendars...
As done by the previous poster, I have a public calendar which shows appointments and locations that I'm willing to let anyone see, and a private one with all of my travel details to which my family has password-protected access.
