Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Can CX or KA miles be redeemed for a roundtrip PVG -> HKG->PVG?

No expereince with CX or KA, so need someone to advise me, thanks in advance!

I wonder if PVG<->HKG (departing from PVG) redeemable with CX miles or KA miles? How many miles are reuquired ? I am aware that one way from HKG->PVG requires 15K KA, HKG<->PVG requires 25K KA, but don't know if PVG to HKG is ok or not, and if CX mile works or not.

KA and CX share the same mileage scheme (AsiaMiles). As you say, one-way (either direction) is $15K and roundtrip (starting either end) is 25K.

From 15 October 2007 the cost of a roundtrip will drop to 20K.
